About Mashu Studios
  Mashu Studios was established in 2000 by Mark Smith with the intention of providing a superior learning environment for music students. The studio and its teachers pride themselves on providing cutting edge playing techniques coupled with intensive theory and recording studies. Our students leave us with a well rounded concept of their instrument and the fundamentals of playing and performing music.

Tuition and Masterclasses
  The studio offers two basic lesson formats at this time. Firstly, one to one tuition lasting one hour or a half hour.In this lesson, techniques, theory and coordination studies are taught to prepare the student for playing in a group and along with recordings.   Secondly, group tuition where the student is placed in a band with guitar and bass students. This lesson covers a wide rane of areas such as groove, time group cohesion and recording techniques. Basically designed to make you a better group player.
