About Mark Smith
I began playing drums around the age of sixteen, and joined my first band a year later. In 1996, I attended the Musicians Institute in Wapping, under the tutelage of great drummers such as Thomas Lang. At the time Thomas was teaching a class called applied technique, which was an eye opener to say the least. I remember being told about Thomas on the first day of college, but nothing could have prepared me for what I was about to see. From that moment on, I was inspired beyond belief, and spent countless hours practicing and honing my technique.
About Simon Roberts
My name is Simon Roberts and I've been a drum student since the age of 5. I play most contemporary styles specialising in Punk Rock. I've played in many venues in and around London. I use Mapex drums with Sabian Cymbals along side DW pedals and PDP hardware.
